Teen Is Hamilton County's 127th COVID-19 Victim; Bradley County Has 69 New Cases In A Day; Tennessee Has 4,472 New Cases

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is 325,201 on Wednesday with 4,472 new cases. There have been 53 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 4,048, said state Health Department officials. 

Hamilton County had 259 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, up from the 210 new cases on Tuesday.  The new total is 15,610.

There was one more death from the virus in the county on Tuesday, bringing the toll to 127. The victim was listed as a black female between the ages of 11 and 20.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 13,448, which is 86 percent, and there are 2,035 active cases. 

Hamilton County has 115 patients hospitalized from the virus, with an additional 11 suspected cases.

Of those, 63 are county residents. There are 32 people in intensive care. 

The state currently has 1,982 people hospitalized from the virus, 60 more than on Tuesday.
There have been 279,931 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (86 percent).

Testing numbers are above 4.177 million across the state.

Bradley County: 4,567 cases, up 69; 30 deaths

Grundy County: 708 cases, up 4; 14 deaths

Marion County: 1,001 cases, up 10; 15 deaths

Meigs County: 431 cases, up 4; 10 deaths

Polk County: 607 cases; 14 deaths

Rhea County: 1,477 cases, up 29; 28 deaths

Sequatchie County: 470 cases, up 6; 5 deaths
