Barbara Tapley
Barbara King Tapley, of Chattanooga fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
She has been reunited with her parents Walter B. and Florence Hurd King; siblings, Doris Rose, Dorothy Maye, Walter B. King, Jr; and nephews, James Rose and Jeffrey Perkinson.
Barbara was a CPA for many years and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Tapley.
She is survived by her daughter, Marla (Ken) Bridges, Chattanooga; son, Joel (Jennifer) Tapley, Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Nicole (Daniel) Cholota, Cadi (Josh) Loveless, of Birchwood; Cody Roach, of Birchwood, Kristen and Kenzie Tapley, both of Dallas, GA; great-grandchildren, Caleb Massey, Hayden Loveless, Kole Massey, Elaina Loveless and Brynlyn Grace Cholota; brother, John (Faye) King, Soddy Daisy; sister, Kathy Bishop, Dayton, TN; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Eric Mullinax officiating and Ken Bridges delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12-2:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
