Deloris Allen
Deloris (Delo) Hicks Hayes Allen, was born on February 7, 1951, was received back to God on November 25, 2020.
She was a member of New United Church and a former member of Union Grove Baptist Church, and served as a pastors’ wife at Mt. Bethlehem Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, Tn.. She is a 1969 graduate of Howard School, 18-year employee of TVA, retiree of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and a 14 year former realtor with Mapp & Associates Realty.
She was preceded in death by her cherished mother, Rose (Tucker) Hicks and father, Worn Hicks; sister, Lois Smith Roberts and granddaughter, Chelsea Deloris.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton Allen; children, Tonya Scales, Sonya Hayes of Nashville, Toni (T.J.) Houston and given son, Lebron Allen of Chattanooga; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Worn (Diane) Hicks of Chattanooga; uncle, Pastor Oscar Lockhart; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Herbert) Dallis, Linda Darby; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, special friends and acquaintances, former husband, Pastor Anthony Hayes and wife, Connie.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home.
