Kenneth Delano Miller
Kenneth Delano Miller, a lifelong resident of Dalton, Georgia, suddenly departed this life on November 2, 2020.
He was born Jan. 2, 1956, to surviving parents, Delano and Frances Miller of Dalton, Ga.
Anyone who knew Kenneth knows he loved being outdoors. He was a life-long, gifted brick mason. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and led fishing tours on the Tennessee River. He was a teller of many tall tales and loved to play pranks and joke around. He was a proud father, grandfather and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maedine Everett Miller; and grandparents, Thomas and Iva Ball and Cecil, Eystol and June Miller, all of Dalton.
He is survived by his three loving children, Quint (Stacie) Miller of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA., Brandy Miller of Dalton, GA, and Brent (Kelsey) Miller of Kennesaw, GA; and siblings, Pamela Carlock of Dalton, GA, Richard Miller of Chattanooga TN, Dawn (Derk) Maturin of Bethlehem, GA. The apples of his eyes were his grandchildren, Destiny (Adam) Castillo, Jordan (Jamie) Lopez, Chasidi Miller, McKensie Miller, Ryleigh Miller, Taylor Howard, Taner Miller, Lawsen Miller, and Bryn Miller; and one great-granddaughter, Laila West. He is also survived by two special people in his life, girlfriend, Sally Overton, and best friend, Lamar Ball.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
