Ruth Inez “Suby” Clark, 90, of Lookout Mountain, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in a local health care facility.
Suby was born on April 27, 1930 to the late James Franklin Stone & Thelma Voiles Stone on Lookout Mountain, and remained there her entire life. She was the oldest member of the West Brow Holiness Church and was employed for many years at Rock City Gardens and Mar-Mode Hosiery Mill.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harry “Key” Clark; great-grandson, Logan Dotson; sister, Gertrude Dabbs; and brothers, Randolph “Buck” Stone and Marvin Franklin “Poodler” Stone.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane (Terry) Schober & Darlene “Frank” Goza, all of Lookout Mountain; grandchildren, Christy Johnson, Carrie (Larry) Dotson, Tim Baxley & Tiffany Baxley; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 9 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home, with Brother Dallas Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
