Ethel Phillips, 105, passed away on February 6, 2020, in Chattanooga.
She was born in Randolph County, Al., to the late Will and Layla Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleve Tom Phillips; son, Tommy Phillips.
Survivors include her sons, Bobby L. Phillips, Dolphus Phillips, Donnie (Shirley) Phillips, Larry Phillips, all of Chattanooga; daughter, Agnes Allen, Roanoke, AL; sister, Cina Bell Johnson, Lima Ohio; 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. CST on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Mount Olive Methodist Church, Roanoke, Al.
Interment will be Mount Olive Methodist Church Cemetery.
Local arrangements are by John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
