Fort Payne, AL --- Officials with the Fort Payne Motor Speedway and United Championship Racing Alliance presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil open the racing season officially Thursday with the second annual Bama Brawl weekend 4-day mega event.
Practice for teams will be the order of the first two days leading into Saturday's preliminary rounds of qualifying and heat races prior to Sunday afternoon's features worth nearly $50,000 for the nine different classes set for competition over the weekend.
Thursday and Friday's practice is set early, about noon CST, at the northeast Alabama dirt track that's expecting a large amount of competitors.
Super Late Models and UCRA 604 Crate Late Models top the weekend card with over $30,000 in purse monies on the line.
Newly added Open Wheel Modifieds will debut this season at Fort Payne along with Kajin Mini Stocks.
