The Photographic Society of Chattanooga will present Lin Prabish on March 19 at 7 p.m. Mrs. Prabish began her love of art at the ripe age of two when she began drawing. In the 1960s, she began painting portraits, signs, billboards and vehicles. By the 1970s, she began her love of photography, and in 1975 opened her studio Photography by Lin.
Mrs. Prabish began combining painting and photography in the 1980s, and in the 1990s Kodak took notice of her new techniques and sponsored her. As a Kodak sponsored artist, Mrs. Prabish began speaking and teaching her new techniques "Lin's Touch". Now she teaches private lessons and workshops to aspiring photographers and artists.
Mrs. Prabish's program will be "Composing Images". Visitors are always welcome.
Boot Camp will begin at 6 p.m. with Mickey Rountree discussing, "Tripods".
