Excel Rehab & Sports will open a new clinic on Monday in East Brainerd at 7443 Commons Blvd., Suite 112, behind Home Depot, and will be accepting new patients.
Currently, they have therapy clinics located in Hixson and Northshore.
Patients can request care through their doctor's office or contact them directly at the Hixson, Northshore, and soon to be open, East Brainerd location by calling 254-5461 and will
be scheduled within 24 – 48 hours.
Jeremy Shook, PT, DPT, OCS, STC, COMT will continue to lead and mentor the expanding Chattanooga area physical therapy teams.
He received his Master of Physical Therapy degree from UTC and graduated at the top of his class. He earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, a Sports Therapy Certification from the North American Sports Medicine Institute at the University of St. Augustine, and his certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Dr. Shook continued to advance his accreditation as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association, a certification held by only 13 percent of physical therapists in the United States.

Excel Rehab and Sports will offer a free 30-minute pain and performance screen, by appointment only, in the East Brainerd clinic through the month of March to evaluate conditions first-hand. Their Physical Therapy team cares for pain for a variety of areas such as low back and neck, shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, and arthritic joint symptoms. Also, they have expertise in post-surgical rehabilitation including fracture repair, ACL reconstruction, total knee, and joint replacement, rotator cuff repairs, neck and back surgeries, and more.
