Cleveland State Men's Basketball Eliminated In TCCAA Tournament

Cleveland State Men’s Basketball suffered a 68-65 defeat vs. Motlow State on Friday afternoon in the play-in round of the TCCAA Tournament in Columbia, Tenn. The ninth-seeded Cougars fell victim to a go-ahead three-point shot by the eighth-seeded Bucks in the final seconds of the contest.

Jakobey Hitchens had a huge game, scoring a game-high 26 points paired with nine boards and an assist. Demonte Person led the game in assists with five while also scoring nine points, grabbing two rebounds, and stealing the ball from the Bucks twice. Jaquez Hicks had a team-high 11 rebounds while also scoring nine points and posting two steals and a block.
