John Rogers
John Bryant Rogers, Jr., 88, of Rock Spring, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020.
John owned, and along with his son operated Tri-State Doors, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Ann Rogers.
He is survived by his daughter, Amelia (Johnny) Pendergrass of LaFayette; and son, Bryant (Joyce) Rogers of Rock Spring; grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Bell, Tyler ( fiancé Devan) Pendergrass, Brandon (Nicole) Rogers, and Blakely (Bryan) Smesny; great grandchildren, Kaylie Bell, Emily Pendergrass, Brayden Bell, Aiden Rogers, Kysen Pendergrass, and Arabella Rogers, several nieces and nephews also survived.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Chandler officiating.
Interment will be in the LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Gregg Chandler, Tyler Pendergrass, Randy Chandler, Josh Bell, Brandon Rogers, and Bryan Smesny.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
