The Chattanooga Department of Transportation announces the following road closures:
E. 3rd Street at Erlanger Medical Center
On Saturday, E. 3rd Street between Hampton Street and Wiehl Street will be closed from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. for a crane installation and lift. Detours will be posted via Central Ave and Blackford Street.
Market Street between MLK Blvd and 8th Street
On Saturday, Market Street between MLK Boulevard and 8th Street will be closed from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. for a crane installation and lift. Detours will be posted.
W. 14th Street
On Monday, W. 14th Street between Cowart Street and Williams Street will be closed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. for a crane installation and roof construction.
Market Street and Georgia Avenue
On Tuesday, Market Street between E. 11th Street and E. 10th Street will be closed from 9 a.m.02 p.m. for a crane installation and lift. Georgia Avenue between Market Street and E. 10th Street will be inaccessible during this time. Detours will be posted.
W. 7th Street
On Tuesday, W. 7th Street between Market Street and Broad Street will be closed from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. for a crane installation and multiple lifts. Detours will be posted.
