Donna Lee Mathis, age 65, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Friday March 27, 2020 at Erlanger Medical Center.
She was born April 4, 1954 in Danville, Va., a daughter of the late Bobby Mathis Sr. and Dorothy Mae Abbott Mathis.
She is survived by her son, Michael Byers; daughters, Jessica Collier and Ashley Raywell of Dalton, Ga.; brothers, Kenneth Mathis of Cohutta, Ga. and Bobby Mathis Jr. of Sugar Valley, Ga.; sisters and brother-in-law, Chris Withrow of Rocky Face, Ga., Linda and David Long, and Patricia Mathis of Dalton, Ga.; grandchildren, Ryan Byers, Hannah Byers, Zoey Collier, Zylin Raywell and David Sloane; and seven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Ponders Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
