Cleveland City Schools will continue to offer at home learning experiences via the ccsathomelearning.com website throughout the district closure. For this week, March 30-April 3, they will also continue to offer paper packets to families that may not have internet services at their home.
In addition to the district’s focused learning activities, the Tennessee Department of Education has partnered with PBS stations across the state to offer at home learning via their stations. Beginning Monday, April 6, WTCI, local PBS station, will broadcast lessons from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. each school day, as well as four hours of content which will stream overnight. Consult a TV guide for those specific hours.
"The content will be developed and provided by Tennessee educators in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Education and meets a critical need to ensure all students have access to high-quality learning opportunities, regardless if their home has internet connectivity or capable devices," officials said.
Information regarding how to view the local PBS station is found on the chart pictured with this article, and can also be found at www.wtcitv.org.
"Please note at this time no grades are being recorded for any class other than dual enrollment and dual credit courses associated with our partner colleges and universities," officials said. "The purpose for the at-home learning project is to provide learning activities that will reinforce skills and concepts expected to be taught and learned during this specific school year. If you have questions, please consult your school’s administration team."
