Jeremiah “Jeremy” Blair Cantrell, 37, of Cleveland, passed away on April 11, 2020. He was born on February 10, 1983 in Marietta, Ga. to Blair and Sonya Cantrell. Jeremy was a near lifelong resident of this area, going through the Cleveland City School System from Stuart Elementary and graduating from Cleveland High School. Jeremy also obtained a bachelors degree from Lee University. He was a loving and hardworking father who was a home builder by trade. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and woodworking. Above all things, Jeremy was a tremendous dad and husband who loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley and LaVaughn Cantrell and Elizabeth McAfee.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Brittany Cantrell; son, Cruize Cantrell; daughter, Emmarie Cantrell; parents, Blair and Sonya Cantrell; brother, Randy Cantrell and wife Morgan and their children, Naomi and Jude Cantrell; and mother and father-in-law, Tina and Marty Benson. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous extended family and friends.
No public services will be held at this time, due to the limitations set forth to combat the Covid-19 virus. A graveside service will be live-streamed at 3 p.m. on Wednesday April 15 on our website at www.companionfunerals.com, or the Companion Funeral Home Facebook page.
Jeremy will be laid to rest at Lee Cemetery in McDonald.
