Albert Lee Simmons, 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in the Hospice Care Center. 

He was a 1969 graduate of Tyner High School.  He retired from Mueller Foundry after many years of service.  He was a member of Pilgrim Rock Baptist Church. 

Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Paralee Holloway; and brothers, Bruce Holloway and Alton Holloway. 

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lois Simmons; sons, Albert Simmons and Allen Simmons; daughters, Tawana Simmons, Sabrina Simmons, and Regina Simmons, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Alexander Simmons, Ellington Love, and Lauren Simmons; brothers, Harold Holloway, Dwight Holloway, Phillip Holloway, all of Chattanooga, and Tyrone Holloway of Georgia; sisters, Maxine Holloway, Martha Holloway, and Estherine Davis, all of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Betty Smith and Brenda Smith, both of Chattanooga; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. 

We would like to say “thank you” especially to the staff at the East Ridge Dialysis Clinic. 

Burial will be Monday, April 6, in Greenwood Cemetery.
