Garrett Rolen
Garrett Rolen, age 18, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Wills; paternal grandfather, Ricky Locke; uncle, Trevin Wills; and aunt, Shannon Rolen.
He was a student at Coahulla Creek High School and The Career Academy. He loved animals, playing the guitar and video games.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary and James Walkey of Dalton; father and stepmother, Marty and Malissa Rolen of Calhoun; two sisters, Kaitie Rolen of Dalton and Madison Rolen of Calhoun; one brother, Aiden Rolen of Calhoun; stepbrothers, Blake Walkey and Micah Walkey, both of Dalton, and Izzy Smith of Calhoun; maternal grandmother, Barbara Wills and paternal grandparents, Judy Locke and Duane and Mary Rolen.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 6, at Colonial Hills Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald Shipman officiating.
The family will receive friends at the pavilion of Colonial Hills Cemetery from 1-2 p.m.
