Juanell Beaty Mantooth, 78, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, went to her heavenly home on Friday night, April 3, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family. Juanell was born in Cleveland on May 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Herman & Elious Beaty. Juanell grew up at South Cleveland Church of God, and was a member of Kinser Church of God. Juanell served as a mother advisor for the Rainbow Girls and was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #143. She loved traveling with her late husband, Jack, on many over-the-road trips in his truck, shopping and eating out. Juanell’s greatest accomplishment was raising her three children and taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Mantooth and grandparents, Frank & Ethel Beaty and James Oscar & Tennie Cash.
Juanell leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, Pam Rogers and her husband Tim, Jack Allen Mantooth and his wife Robin and Mike Mantooth and wife Adrienne; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.
The family will have a private service for the immediate family on Monday, April 6 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, with the Reverend Guinn Green officiating. The service will be lived streamed on the funeral home Facebook page.
The private family interment will follow in the Beaty Cemetery.
