Sarah Manning
Sarah Sanders Manning, 89, of Hixson, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020.
Sarah was born on September 7, 1930, in Whiteside, Tn., to the late Charles Franklin and Ina Ginn Sanders. She retired from Bell South Corporation where she was a telephone operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Bennie Lamar Manning; sons, Steve Manning and his wife Shelby and Richard Manning; 11 siblings and several nieces and nephews.
Sarah is survived by her granddaughter, Stephanie Long; two great-grandsons, David and Steven Massengale.
There will be no visitation and private graveside services for Mrs. Manning will be held at Hooker Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
