With everyone staying at home during the Coronavirus outbreak, many people are now discovering that they have that extra time to practice and perfect their unique talents. Collegedale Parks and Recreation Department would like to highlight and feature the talents and gifts of folks in the area by sponsoring an online “Collegedale’s Got Talent” contest.
Interested contestants will need to post up to a three minute video on the Collegedale's Got Talent Facebook page showcasing their talent by Thursday, April 16, at 11:59 p.m. The top five videos will be posted to the Collegedale Parks and Recreation main Facebook page on Friday, April 17, and will run thru Sunday, April 19.
Facebook followers will serve as judges and will have the opportunity to pick their favorite video on the Collegedale Parks and Recreation Facebook page. The Collegedale’s Got Talent winner, along with second and third place, and the runner ups, will be announced on Monday, April 20. The winner will receive a $50 gift card to Walmart.
So if you have the gift of singing, or dancing, or even performing magic tricks, Collegedale would like to see your talents. Create a video today and post it on Collegedale’s Got Talent Facebook page. For more information, email parksandrec@collegedaletn.gov
