Willie Mae Lane Brock
Willie Mae Lane Brock, age 82, a life-long resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at a local health care facility.
She was one of 12 children born to the late Will and Edith Lane. She was preceded in death by her son, Max Brock; her brothers, Lester, Jack, Burke, Ray and Jimmy Lane; and her sisters Melba Hickman, Polly Branham, Mary Morgan and Enzinna Lane.
She retired from Dr. Scholls after many years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included cooking, cleaning, knitting and sitting on her front porch in her rocking chair waving at everybody. She also enjoyed traveling, seeing 49 states on a tour bus.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas E. Brock; her son, Terry Brock and his wife Joyce; her grandchildren, Tyler Brock, Shelby Brock and Laurel Brock; her brothers, Glen Lane, Allen Lane and his wife Sally; her sister-in-law, LaPhene Lane; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will have a private graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Hibbard officiating along with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
