Kimberly Kay Smith, 50, of Ooltewah, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

She loved to color and draw with her grandbabies, and cook meals with them on the weekends. She adored music more than most and was an avid movie buff.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Kay Smith and her sister, Samantha Kay Smith.

She is survived by her father, J.L. Smith, her sons, Jaime Smith and Sam Wells, her sister, Kendra (Joe) Bandy, and her niece and nephew, Taylor Grace Bandy and Joseph Evan Bandy. She will be dearly missed by her grandbabies, Tiffany Isabelle Smith and Kimberly Michelle Smith, their mother Lauryn Smith, their grandmother, her dear friend Michelle Patterson, the Patterson family, and their paternal grandfather and step-grandmother Bill and Barbara Vest of Las Vegas, Ne.

Both her immediate and extended families will hold private celebrations of life ceremonies in different places she lived throughout the world, including Australia, Mississippi, and here in Tennessee, in accordance with her wishes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Kim’s name to either Chattanooga Room In The Inn, or McKamey Animal Center. “Peace, Love & Hugs”.
