Jane Blailock

Jane Brice Pyle Blailock, at the age of 71, went home peacefully to our Lord surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

Jane was born on October 17, 1948 in Barwick, Ga. In later years she moved to the New Hope, Tn. community until 15 years ago when her husband, Michael Blailock and she built a home in Dunlap, Tn.  She was a registered CNA until she retired.

Jane was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the South Pittsburg Pentecostal Church in South Pittsburg.

Jane was a loving and fabulous mother to her four daughters (as they were known as daughter 1, daughter 2, daughter 3 and daughter 4 in her cell phone), devoted grandmother, caring aunt and a best friend to those that adventured her path.   She was a devoted strong and faithful servant to her Lord and savior.   As her last words to her family were “come on, let’s go see our Lord”.   Jane loved sharing her Christian faith to those she loved along with strangers on the street.  She will always be remembered for loving with the heart that God gifted to her. Jane was known for her love of delicious home cooked meals, her beautiful flowers and stunning gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lewis Blailock; mother, Juanita V. Cannon; and father, Ralph E. Pyle.

She leaves four daughters here to finish their work for the Lord which are Tammy (Jim) Harper, Wanda (Johnnie) Rhoades, Melinda Rollins and Sylvia (Greg) Lopez; honorary daughter, Connie Baker; brother, Ralph (Brenda) E. Pyle, II; grandchildren, Juanita Knight, Melinda Bradford, Michael Crumley, Charles C. Rollins, Blake Rackler, Tabitha Rackler, Christopher Rackler, Lindsey Murray and David Harper  along with ten great-grandchildren and niece, Anna Juanita (Robert)  Merciers, and nephew, Ralph “Eston”  (Channey) Pyle, III.

The family will have a private visitation on Tuesday, June 2, from 1-1:45 p.m. CDT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

A graveside service will be held at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tn. at 2 p.m. following the visitation with Pastor Doug Boggs officiating.
