Courtney “Cork Cork” Danielle Partin, 28, a resident of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Chattanooga. She was born in Chattanooga on Aug. 25, 1991.
Courtney is preceded in death by her god-grandfather, Mack “PoPeye” Newman; grandmothers, Betty Lou Morton and Betty Faye Cooper; and grandfather, John K. Trammell.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Stormie L. Webb, Kinsley S. Partin and Kaden B. Hester; her children’s father, Jason Webb; parents, Connie M Trammell and John D. Trammell, of Chattanooga; god-parents, Mackie Newman, Tammy and Jessie Bryson; brother, Brandon Trammell, of Chattanooga; sister, Amanda Phillips, of Alabama; god-brother, and sisters, Jason Newman, Kaylee Higgins, Kerionna Taylor, Logan Miller, Shaylean Scroggins, Neveah Scroggins and D’Asia Scoggins; god-sister, Marquitta Scroggins, of Cleveland; nieces and nephews, Paisley Phillips, Jack Phillips and Lil Man Gunn; and special friend, Thane Delashmitt.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 5 from 3-4 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, 1403 Hammerhill Road in Athens. A funeral service will follow the visitation time at 4 p.m. with Bishop Clifford Barnes officiating.
