David "Dave" Glenn Smith, 47 of Benton, fell asleep in death on May 30, 2020 at Fort Sanders Medical Center. He was born in Harrisburg, Pa. on Aug. 13, 1972. David loved his family dearly and was an incredibly hard worker. He loved music and spending time with his loved ones. He had the most memorable laugh.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Perez.
He was a loving father who is survived by his three children, David Smith Jr., Selena Smith and Sheana Arnold; his three siblings, Catrease Fry, Barbara Rogers and Rob Dyer' his three step-brothers, Adam, Jesse and Paul Perez Jr.; one grandchild; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends will be held from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 at Serenity Funeral Home in Etowah.
