Chattanooga Football Club is pleased to announce that supporters across the tristate area will be able to watch the first match of the NISA Independent Cup live on local television- a first in Chattanooga FC history. Supporters were thrilled yesterday to learn that Chattanooga’s Football Club will return to play Saturday, July 11th, 8:00 against Georgia Revolution in the first leg of the NISA Independent Cup.
Now, everyone will be able to tune in to see the boys in blue live on the CW Network. The broadcast will be presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.
“It is important to us to give everyone in town a chance to watch the return of live sports in the Scenic City” said Jeremy Alumbaugh, Managing Director, Chattanooga FC. “We’re grateful to our partners, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and Sinclair Broadcasting for working with us and helping provide our community this event. We’re all excited to be back on the pitch, and to have our first match back also be our first EVER live televised game is truly special. Chattanooga FC can’t thank BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for their continued support of our club and this City.”
The game will be broadcast live Saturday, July 11th, at 8:00pm and will include a pregame and halftime show for viewers to enjoy. Chattanooga FC will also provide livestream options for fans outside the Chattanooga viewing area via MyCujoo. The TV broadcast will feature new voices to Chattanooga FC: Veteran sports broadcaster John Freeman. John is currently the voice of Nashville SC in MLS, and has done radio play by play for the club for the past four seasons. Joining John in the booth will be Dale Schilly.
