Mark Womack
Mark Sanders Womack III, a lifelong resident of Fort Oglethorpe and more recently a resident of Signal Mountain, died on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at a local hospital.
Mark served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Lakeview.
Mark is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Womack and his mother, Betty Womack.
He is survived by two sons, Mark S. Womack IV (Katherine) of Signal Mountain and Ryan M. Womack (Kacy) of Signal Mountain; five grandchildren: Kate, Henry, Gus Womack and Waverly and Banks Womack; father, Mark Sanders Womack, Jr. of East Ridge; one brother, Paul Womack (Natalie) of Chattanooga; five sisters: Lynn (Lee) Shelton of Shelbyville, Tn., Vicki Charlton (Ronnie) of Murfreesboro, Tn., Mary Murdock of Chattanooga, Lisa Brady of Bardstown, Ky., and Laura Myers (Joe) of Chattanooga; multiple brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of 4 East at Memorial Hospital.

All funeral services will be private with a private burial in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
