Bob Lynn Miller, 57, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 in a Nashville hospital. He loved treasure hunting and restoring old cars. He was the treasurer of Blue Ridge Temple Baptist church, where he was also a member.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Thomas Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cheryl Renee’ Miller, of Cleveland; father, Author Miller, Jr., of Cleveland; siblings, David (Joanna) Miller, of Cleveland, Sharon (Billy) Hartness, of Cleveland and Randy Miller, of Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Robin Colloms, of Blairsville, Ga. and Denise Harris, of Mauldin, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be Wednesday, July 8 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, with the Reverend Terry Webb and the Reverend Lee Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Dill Cemetery, with David Miller, Randy Miller, Josh Pumley, Billy Hartness, Dakota Hartness and Aaron Miller serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and playing of bagpipes will conclude the service. The service will be live-streamed on Ralph Buckner Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
His family will receive friends Tuesday, July 7 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
