First Horizon Bank announced that Michael Woody has been named banking center manager for their Eastgate location.
The Ooltewah native returns to his hometown after working in banking in upper east Tennessee for the last seven years. Graduating from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a degree in business and minor in human resources, Mr. Woody brings strong skillsets to his new position, officials said.
Chattanooga Market President Jay Dale said, “We’re excited to welcome Michael back to Chattanooga and to the First Horizon family. The Eastgate banking center has been a part of the Brainerd community for more than six decades. We’re seeing third and fourth generations of customers at the center and we know they will enjoy getting to know Michael as their banker.”
Mr.
Woody said, “As my family is laying down roots in Chattanooga, I’m excited to get to know customers who’ve been with our center for many years along with new customers who, like me, are enjoying the Brainerd area.”
Mr. Woody and his wife, Nicole, are parents to three children ranging in ages from six to 20. The family recently purchased a home in the historic Belvoir neighborhood just minutes from the banking center.
