Willie Payne
Willie “Chuck” Payne, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at a local hospital.
He was a 1970 graduate of Riverside High School, a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and a retiree of Van Heusen.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Payne; mother, Eva Mae Payne; father, James Yancey; brother, Eric L. Payne; sister, Gloria Jean Taylor.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife; Katherine W. Payne; children, Cedric Payne, Tametric Payne and Jacob (Kathleen) Johnson; brother, Michael Muhammad; sisters, Darlene (DeWayne) Caudle, Regina Worsham, Debra (Zachary) Mitchell, other family members and friends.
A public viewing will be held from 2–6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, at the funeral home. A private service will be held.
Interment will be from Lakewood Memory Garden East.
