Lisa Gale Simon Smith
Lisa Gale Simon Smith, age 55, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She fought the long, hard battle with cancer until she gained her wings.
Lisa loved the outdoors and making everyone smile and will be greatly missed by all she leaves behind.
Lisa was proceeded in death by her parents, Corny and Melba McCormack; grandparents, Chester and Kate Pierce; and special aunt, Alberta Grady.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her one sister, Michelle Simon (Bucky May); two brothers, Slick McCormack (Vickie) and Gordy McCormack (Rosa); two daughters, Daphne Smith and Tasha Smith; eight grandchildren that she loved so much, Zeth Haynie, Mariah Smith, Taelyn Smith, Greanlei Smith, Keyniya Smith, Maykia Smith, Ali Hughes, Maddie Hughes; one great-grandbaby, Zaiden Haynie; one very special niece she loved like her own, Katanna (tat tat) White; special great-nephew, Kamden (kam kam) Brown; along with a host of other nieces and nephews she loved and Nana to many that knew her.
The Remembrance of Life Services will be conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Ray Cheatham and Reverend Darrell Grady officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Hill Cemetery with Bucky May, Keith Beachy, Landon Duckett, Salvador Rodriguez, Parnell Thompson, Kevin Goldston. Honorary casket bearers will be Zeth Haynie, Taelyn Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
