Chattanooga Football Club is announcing that the club has finalized a deal with Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USL Championship that will send defender Raymond Lee to the Keystone state, pending league and federation approval.
“From a club standpoint, it is always difficult to see a good player and better person leave” said Peter Fuller, Head Coach, Chattanooga FC.
“But I think I speak for the entire CFC family when I say thank you Ray for your time here with us. He is a class professional and a top end left back! I have known Ray since our days together at Philadelphia Union. To see the development and growth in him as a player and as a person has been magnificent. We wish him well in Pittsburgh and as his career moves forward wherever he may go from there.”
This is Lee’s first year with Chattanooga FC, and he figured prominently in our first ever professional match against Oakland Roots. Lee played for Pittsburgh in 2018, where he played in 29 matches for the Riverhounds. We want to wish Raymond the best at his next stop, and thank him for his time in the Scenic City. Terms of the transfer are undisclosed in accordance with Chattanooga FC Club policy.
