Larry Allen Denham, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

 

Mr. Denham was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, raised in Taylor, Mi, and graduated from Murray State University.  He moved to Chattanooga where he and his wife purchased Tennessee Academy of Gymnastics in 1988.  Larry was a published author, and a Tennessee State & Region 8 Gymnastics Hall of Fame inductee.

 

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lee Ann Denham; daughters, Renee Marx, Kelsi (William) Bruce and Miranda Denham; grandchildren, Lilyana, Lucille, Nick and Alana; mother, Dorice Denham; siblings, Brad (Stacia) Denham, Lindy (Linda) Denham, Joey (Tommy) Thompson, Jimmy (Laura) Denham and Jerry Denham; and many nieces and nephews.
