Marshall Andrew Sweat, age 34, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, September 13, 2020 in Dalton.
He was born June 27, 1986 in Calhoun, Ga. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne Bramlett, George Wesley and Joy L. Sweat. He was a graduate of Murray County High School.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Brandy Rodgers and their children, Heaven Sweat, Harmony Sweat, Kaden Maddox of Ellijay, GA; father, Tim Sweat; mother and stepfather, Becky Bramlett and Chris Newton; brother, Wesley Sweat all of Dalton, GA; grandmother, Gladys Bramlett of Calhoun, GA; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Marshall Andrew Sweat will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, at 3 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, Sept. 19, from 1-3 p.m.
Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
