The Chattanooga Zoo will present its most spooktacular event of the year, Boo in the Zoo. This safe, family-fun event will take place on Oct. 16, 17, 23, and 24 from 4-8 p.m. each night.
Boo in the Zoo is a Halloween-themed event that is a family favorite for Chattanoogans and a tradition that marks the beginning of fall with seasonal activities for all ages, said officials. For one all-inclusive price, guests are welcome to come and enjoy all that this year’s Boo in the Zoo has to offer including a scavenger hunt, costume contest, animal enrichment, trick or treat stations, and more.
To ensure the safety of guests and to allow for proper social distancing, this year’s Boo in the Zoo activities have been adjusted and/or eliminated as needed. Each event night will have a limited number of nightly attendees and will require online ticket purchases only with timed entries.
Additionally, Boo in the Zoo will follow all COVID-19 safety guidelines set forth by the Zoo, the city of Chattanooga, and the Hamilton County Health Department.
“Boo in the Zoo is a community favorite that many Chattanoogans look forward to every year,” said Dardenelle Long, Chattanooga Zoo president and CEO. “While we hate to limit the tickets this year, we are excited to be able to safely start offering our zoo events again. If you want to catch this fall favorite, we suggest you buy your tickets as soon as possible.”
Boo in the Zoo tickets are now available for purchase online. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit chattzoo.org. Online ticket purchasing is required for Zoo members and nonmembers.
