As the boys in blue prepare to head north for the NISA Fall Championship Tournament, today the club announced two more home matches to close out the 2020 season. Saturday, October 17th will see Metro Louisville FC from the NPSL come to town. The following weekend, Saturday, October 24th, NISA’s newest team, Maryland Bobcats FC, will come to the Scenic City. Tickets for both matches are on sale now at CFCTIX.com.
“We are excited to announce these two additional matches in October” said Jeremy Alumbaugh, Managing Director, Chattanooga FC.
“Having an opportunity for our fans and supporters to again support their Club in person at Finley is important. Our reduced capacity protocols have been well received and playing these matches will allow a little more normalcy to return to our lives in a safe way. Metro Louisville is an expansion NPSL Club, and it’s great to bring them to Finley. Maryland Bobcats are joining us in NISA and they are a fantastic club with talent and solid leadership both on and off the field.'
Metro Louisville FC are new to the soccer landscape, but envision themselves as a local club determined to serve the community in which they live. The roots of Maryland Bobcats FC are strong, as they were initially founded in 2016 as an academy development program and have multiple teams at varying levels under their umbrella. In July, Bobcats FC applied to join NISA and are set to begin play in the 2021 Fall Season.
