Shirley Faye Brooks
Shirley Faye Brooks, 77, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Chattanooga.
Mrs. Brooks attended Corinth Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed watching them play sports.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Charles and Nettie Moore; and her grandson, Clint Scoggins.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jerry Brooks of McDonald; son, Bradley Scoggins of Cleveland; daughter, Ami Burns and husband Jimmy of McDonald; grandchildren, Preston Scoggins and wife Kali of Cleveland, Jordan Scoggins of Cleveland, and Chayse Burns of McDonald; and great-grandchildren, Addi and Bowen Scoggins of Cleveland.
A graveside service at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, by Pastor Shane Williams and Pastor Gary Thacker. Her grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers.
A private family visitation will be held at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 216 Corinth Church Road, McDonald, TN, 37353.
