Alice Juanita Cordell, 82, of LaFayette, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2020, surrounded by her family.
She was a member of North LaFayette Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Payne; parents, John Travillian and Josephine Yother Travillian; sister, Ada Holcomb; brothers, John, Tony and Jimmy Travillian; sister-in-law, Linda Beasley; brothers-in-law, Donald, David, Cecil, and Harold Cordell.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles A. Cordell; daughter, Elizabeth (James) Campbell; son, Rex Cordell; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Madaline Lovett, Sarah Shaw, Ruth Jones, Juanita Smith, and Gail Harpe; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, at North LaFayette Baptist Church with Pastors Lowell Cantrell, Ronald Guffey, and Charlie Hamm officiating.
Interment at United Memorial Gardens in Dalton.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
