Temple Blaylock
Temple Maurice Blaylock, 88, of Ooltewah, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020, in a local hospital.
He was born June 12, 1932, in Signal Mountain, Tn., to the late Clyde Allen and Stella (Kitrell) Blaylock.
He was post World War II United States Army veteran serving in Germany from 1952-1954.
Mr. Blaylock was a member of Apison United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge #558 F&AM. He was a retired TVA supervisor with 36 years of service.
His sisters, June Mowery and Dorris Cartwright; and brothers, Allen Blaylock, Jr. and Wesley Blaylock preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years Maureen Lawson Blaylock; daughters, Tammy (Tim) Seanor of Alpharetta, GA and Sherry (Sonny) Sledge of Lake Wales, Fl.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 25, at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Todd Chancey officiating. Military honors will be provided.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

All requirements of social distancing set in place by the CDC must be followed. Face coverings are required for those who attend the graveside service.
