Elsa Stewart
Elsa Louise Stewart was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, on December 13, 1957, but lived in the Chattanooga area since coming to Covenant College in 1976.
She moved on to live with her Heavenly Father on September 17, 2020. She was the victim of the Covid-19 virus.
Elsa’s life has been chiefly characterized by the passionate love she had for Jesus Christ and the hundreds, if not thousands, of people she freely loved throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Janet Braun, and is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leland Stewart, her son, Martin Stewart, (Krystle), and daughters, Carissa Stewart and Kaylin Rowek (Nick), sister, Jamy Pomeroy (Wilford), brother, Art Braun, and sister, Helen VanGoor (Ken). She is also survived by grandchildren, Jaxon and Lilly Stewart, and a whole bunch of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga.
