Virginia “Jenny” Gallion, 68, of Ooltewah, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.

 

Jenny was born on April 19, 1952, in Ooltewah.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Betty Walker; brothers, Earl and Jerry Walker.

 

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Charles Gallion; daughter, Stephanie (Jimmy) Rogers; sister, Vivian Walker-Watson; stepson, Bobby (Melissa) Gallion; grandchildren, Morgan and Grant Gallion, and the light of her life, Ayden Rogers; her special niece, Emily Horton; and several other nieces and nephews.

 

Jenny was a wonderful caretaker, especially with caring for her parents from a very young age. Jenny “Bobo” cherished her special bond with her grandson, Ayden. A special thank you to Ella Rogers, who was a huge help during the hardest time of Jenny’s life.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Plowman Cemetery in Apison, Tn.

 

The family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga East Division or Pathway Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
