Reverend Tommie Cordell “Tom” Davis, 80, of Jamestown, Tennessee, passed away on September 26, 2020 but had lived in Chattanooga for 34 years.

 

Reverend Davis was the pastor of Temple Bible Methodist Church for 34 years.  He served in the United States Army and was a custodian at the Air National Guard.  He enjoyed gardening and playing Solitaire.

 

Rev. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Lora (Smith) Davis; first wife, Wanda (Smith) Davis; second wife, Judy (Zimmerman) Davis; brother, David Davis.

 

Survivors include his children, Regina Gray, Robin Davis, Jerry (Paula) Davis, Lance (Dafnie) Davis, Lynette (Matthew) Holmbeck; brother, Walter (Maudeen) Davis; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, from 10-11 a.m. Service will be on Wednesday, on 11 a.m. at the South Crest Chapel.

 

Interment will be on Thursday, at 3 p.m. at the Fentress Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, Tn.

 

Officiating will be Reverend Walter Hedstrom, Reverend John Parker and Reverend Rob Cravens.

 

Arrangements are by the Lane South Crest Chapel and Crematory, Rossville.
