Nellia Faye Chadwick, 82, of Cleveland, passed away on January 13, 2021. She was born on Dec. 31, 1938 to the late William A. Mullinax and Rosa Nena Goodner Mullinax.
Faye was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church. She loved her family more than anything in this world and loved spending time with her friends and her special dog, “Able.”
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Lynn Chadwick Hulvey; brothers, Gene Mullinax, Art Mullinax (Mae), Walter Mullinax, Fred Mullinax, Randal Mullinax (Genevia), Lillian Mullinax Guinn (Hershal) and Ruth Mullinax Millsaps (Otis); and brothers-in-law, John Chadwick (Ava) and Allen Chadwick (Willean).
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 65 years, Arland Lamont Chadwick; daughters, Tammy Radford (Eddie), Robin Lawson (Danny), Karen Wilcoxon (Tim) and Denise Elliott (Gerald); son-in-law, Kent Hulvey; sister-in-law, Jerewanda Mullinax; brother-in-law, Robert Chadwick (Vivian); grandchildren, Alecia Faye Rollins (Billy), Emily Goff, Dustin Beene, Megan Huddleston (Marshal), Daniel Lawson and Kaitlyn Hulvey; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Winters, Kylee Johnson, Kinsley Johnson, Savannah Beene, Pearl Huddleston, Peyton Rollins and Parker Rollins. She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 17 at Companion Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. A celebration of Faye’s life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. Masks will be required and the family asks that social distancing be practiced.
She will be laid to rest following her service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, with Tim Wilcoxon, Danny Lawson, Gerald Elliott, Kent Hulvey, Daniel Lawson and Marshal Huddleston serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Radford, Dustin Beene, Billy Rollins and Paul McGill.
