Lotis Faye Garwood “Lody” Calvanese, 79, of Lookout Mountain, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 15, 2021. 
 
She was born in Winston Salem, NC and had lived in the Harrison, TN area for most of her life before moving to the North Georgia area 35 years ago.  She was of the Christian faith and was the owner and operator of Lody’s Snow Cones for more than 15 years. 
 
Lody loved Tennessee Football “Go Vols”, was a huge Trump supporter and she never sugar coated anything, if you met Lody, you would never forget her.  She was a complete social butterfly, who loved crossword puzzles and spending time working in her yard.  She was also the local weather advisor for her family and friends and was very good at micro managing her entire family. 
 
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be truly missed by all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her parents;  first husband, Edward John Bidon, and second husband, Andrew Calvanese.
 
Survivors include her children, Todd Bidon and (fiancée, Karen Watson), Shon and (Tracy) Bidon and Andrea and (Brett) Mashburn; sister and brother-in-law, Roberta and (Tony) Stovall; five grandchildren, Lashon Harbour, Shon Bidon, Jr., Zeth Bidon, Morgan Richards and Tristyn Jump;  three great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
 
Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
