Lisa Kay Nixon, 52, of Dayton, passed away at her parent’s home in Dayton on Friday, January 15, 2021.
She was born in Dayton on June 19, 1968 and lived all of her life in Dayton. She had been employed as a CNA with the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed working puzzles, reading and above all else spending time with her family.
She is survived by her dad, George (Judy) Nixon, her son, Joshua (Millie) Nixon, daughter, Natasha Clark and sister, Tammy Pearce all of Dayton, her brother Mike (Shelly) Nixon of Evensville and her two granddaughters, Zoey Clark and Ember Leigh along with several nephews and nieces her were very dear to her. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley (Filyaw) Nixon, granddaughter Paisley Clark, grandparents Charles B. and Nora Nixon, Bessie (Filyaw) Eakins and Charlie Filyaw.
Funeral services for Lisa will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Bill Ewing officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her mother in the Spence Cemetery.

The family is being cared for by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends on Tuesday, Jan. 19, after 10 a.m.
Serving as her pallbearers are Cody Cox, Cory Cox, Jason Nixon, Michael Nixon, Xander Nixon and Tracy Hickman.
