Joan Ruth Lee
Joan Ruth Lee, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at her residence in Rosewood, Fort Ogelthorpe, Georgia.
Joan was born in St. Louis, Mo., on May 13, 1933. She spent her high school years in Atlanta, and most of her life in Chattanooga.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Lewis Bernard Lee in 1980. Joan is survived by her daughter Linda Lee Rodin (Tallahassee, FL); her grandson, Jacob Rodin, and his wife Allie (Edgewater, FL); and her great grandchildren, Joseph and Emery Rodin.
Mrs. Lee was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. She loved cats, travel, books, and gardening. Joan had a passion for Christmas decorations which included 37 fully-decorated themed trees, each complete with their own nativity scene.
Due to Covid, no physical visitation or graveside service is scheduled.
