Aline Bandy
Aline Bandy, age 87, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Regency Park.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Tinker and Nola Headrick; sisters, Mildred Cline Rich, Ray Spivey, Mary Jo Cox, Jeanette Kersey; and brother, LeRoy Headrick.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Bandy; two sons and daughter-in-law, Phillip Bandy, and Terry and Debbie Bandy, both of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Morris of Sevierville, TN, Emma Mae Cox of Dawnville, Bobbie Hawkins of Meigs County, TN, Wanda and Doug Baggett of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Martha Headrick of Benton, TN, Tommy and Jean Headrick of Cleveland, TN, Billy and Johnny Headrick of Cleveland, TN, Steve and Susan Headrick of Crandall, GA; grandchildren; Zack (Rhonda), Chase (Ashley), Megan, Phillip, and Sarah Bandy; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Carson, Shelbie and Sadie Bandy; and nieces and nephews also survive.
If you ever met Mamaw Aline, you learned quickly that she loved to laugh, quilt and work in her flower gardens. If you ever ate a meal at her table, you knew that she was the best cook around. She loved fishing and could reel in as many crappie as the guys. Most of all, she loved her family. She and Papaw Harold celebrated 71 years of marriage. She loved playing with her grands and great-grands. The memories she made and lessons taught will live on in the hearts of generations to come. She and Harold attended Dug Gap Church for many years until she was no longer able to go.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 25, at 3 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with grandsons, Zack Bandy and Chase Bandy officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 25, from 1 p.m. until the service hour at 3 p.m. The family respectively requests that masks be worn properly.
Burial will be held in the United Memorial Gardens.
