Ricky Deryl Burton, 58, of LaFayette, passed away on January 25, 2021. He was a career truck driver, which was what he enjoyed. He loved his family, had a passion for playing guitar, fishing and riding motorcycles. Ricky was a hard working man who cared about others before himself; the most hilarious man who never failed to bring a smile to your face and a deep belly laugh; a true life of the party who was loved by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Burton; and brother, Barry E. Burton.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Eaker; daughter, Devanee M. Burton; son, Ricky D. Burton, Jr.; sister, Sherry (Jack) Cooper; brothers, Charles (Jan) Burton and Mike (Mardee) Burton; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel, with Pastor Luke Camlic officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at noon until tht time of service.
