Charles Herbert Bennett
Charles Herbert Bennett, age 68, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, December 14, 2020 at his home.
Charles was born Sept. 12, 1952 in Dalton, Ga., the son of the late Paul Herbert Bennett and Trummie Lela Ingle Bennett. His wife Nuj Bennett passed on Jan. 26, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.
Charles is survived by his step-son, Tom Arnold and step-daughter-in-law, Jennifer Arnold; daughter, Christina Busie; grandsons, Bradley Busie and Blake Arnold; granddaughter, Emma Arnold; sister, Nadine Bennett; nephew, Mark Martin; and nieces, Amanda Brock, Amy Stinson and Angela Stinson.
Service to celebrate the life of Charles will be Sunday, Feb. 7, from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Darey Kittle and Reverend Noel Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 7, from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 2 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel.
Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
