Clarence Harvey Richie
Clarence Harvey Richie of Soddy Daisy went home to his Lord on January 4, 2021.
He was born on July 17, 1935, to Frank and Hazel Richie. Harvey retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 45 years of service, was a member of the Highland Sportsman Club and was a member of the Welcome Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church Soddy Daisy.
Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Richie, his parents, his sister, Lois Holland, daughter Terri Lynn Richie, and his niece Gina Neeley Reed.
Those left to cherish Harvey's memory are his step-son, Randy (Eva) Millsaps, Soddy Daisy, granddaughters, Beth Millsaps of Cleveland and Jamie (Micky) Deweese of Cookeville, brother-in-law, Tom (Cheryll) Neeley of Chattanooga, niece, Amy (Steve) Duck of Chattanooga, great nieces and great nephew, Savannah Raymond, Jacob Raymond, GiGi Duck and many other family members.
In accordance with county COVID-19 guidelines, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Highway 153, Dr. Seton Tomyn, officiating.
The family would like to thank Jackie Moore and Hearth Hospice for their wonderful, care and compassion.
